Hi and welcome to our Winter Checks site, this site has been built to help to get you through the Winter as easily as possible because we all know that Winter is a time when we dread about breaking down somewhere far away from home when it is freezing outside.

In this site you will find useful information not only about how to minimize these risks but also what to do when things go wrong.

There is also a checklist of items you should make sure you take with you if you are going on a journey in the Winter, especially if you intend travelling alone or alone with children.

Ideally you would join one of the three national breakdown companies – the AA, RAC or Green Flag before you embark on a journey and then this will take away a major worry.
